Star Hotel, Davao

I had an amazing experience at the Father's Day buffet held on June 16, 2024. The food was absolutely great, and I was pleasantly surprised by the price of just 599, which is such a steal compared to other buffets in Davao. The service was quick and the staff were genuinely friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience. I particularly enjoyed the coffee from Paramount Coffee, and the complimentary banana chips for the fathers was a good touch. I felt truly satisfied after my meal and am looking forward to their next buffet event!

For the past three years, we've been booking this hotel for our annual seminars, and I can honestly say it is perfect for our needs. The setup is comfortable, and the staff have always been accommodating, especially when we have specific requests. Even though the coffee shop is new, I find it to be quite good. It's reassuring to know that any concerns we have with the rooms and toilets are promptly addressed, ensuring a smooth experience for our foreign guests.

During my stay in September 2024 with my two senior aunts, we booked a Suite Room that was spacious enough for all of us. The king bed was comfortable, and we appreciated that it generously accommodated three people. While the extra bed provided was somewhat flimsy, the overall size and layout of the room made up for it. The bathroom even offered more space than most hotels, which we loved! It was nice to have the free breakfast included, allowing us to start our day on the right note.

I recently stayed in one of the rooms and found it quite comfortable, even if it had an old-fashioned feel. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the well-sealed sliding bathroom door, which added a bit of privacy. Although the amenities were simple, what stood out was how locked-in I felt on a quiet evening. I did notice that some staff were a bit hit-or-miss, particularly during breakfast service, but overall, the room's comfort made my stay enjoyable.
